Dr. Roy Stine’s remote sensing team at work

Posted on September 29, 2017

Dr. Stine’s remote sensing team has been working in Salisbury, NC looking for the possible remnants of a Confederate prison building that once stood off East Bank Street in Salisbury. The Historic Salisbury Foundation sought the help of experts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. They chose a team from the Remote Sensing Laboratory in the Geography Department. That team consisted of Drs. Roy and Linda Stine, Ari Lukas and Megan Peters. The Salisbury Post printed the story on their front page in the August 31st edition.
